【使い分け】since / for ＋ during / while を3分で整理
「〜から／〜の間」といった時間表現は英語学習者の混乱ポイント。使う文型やニュアンスを整理します。
1) since / for の使い分け
since＝起点を表す「〜から」、for＝期間を表す「〜の間」。どちらも現在完了と一緒によく使われます。

- for + 期間：for 3 years, for two hours, for a long time
例文（和訳つき）
I have lived here since 2015.
2015年からここに住んでいます。She has been studying English for three years.

since は「いつから始まったか」、for は「どれくらい続いているか」。
