1) this / that / these / those の使い分け

this / these＝話し手に近い、「これ／これら」。
that / those＝話し手から遠い、「それ／あれ」「それら／あれら」。

2) both / either / neither の使い分け

二者のうち「両方」「どちらか」「どちらも〜ない」を区別します。

• both：両方とも（肯定） → Both answers are correct.
• either：どちらか一方（肯定） → You can choose either option.
• neither：どちらも〜ない（否定） → Neither option is good.
